The Pan Albanian American Congress (PAAC) congratulates the Kurti Government

Tuesday, 23 March 2021 – The Pan Albanian American Congress (PAAC) congratulates the people of Kosovo and their representatives in Parliament on the election of Kosovo’s new Government. We wish the new Prime Minister, Mr. Kurti and his cabinet success in this important mandate. We also congratulate Mr. Konjufca on his election as Speaker of Parliament.

Kosovo has been through much as the pandemic and bitter political polarization has left its

economy in ruins, exposed the gross deficiency in its medical sector despite the heroism of its

personnel, and has left the people and the nation adrift.

Political stability is needed more than ever as immense challenges await. With each day Serbia finds its footing as her crimes begin to fade into history just as all of her other ones have. Many are trying to rewrite history now and equate the victim with the aggressor. Our western partners, especially the United States, need a reliable and predictable counterpart in order to move Kosovo closer to Europe, NATO and the U.N. PAAC calls on all parties to work together to quickly elect a new President and consolidate Kosovo’s political representation to the world in order for Kosovo’s statehood to be fully consolidated and have the doors of prosperity opened.

PAAC stands ready to work closely with Kosovo’s institutions to strengthen the bond  between Kosovo and the United States. “We are encouraged by the formation of the new government and we look forward to working with them to move Kosovo forward into its inevitably bright European future” stated PAAC Chairman, Bruno Ceka.
