The Pan Albanian American Congress had a virtual meeting with AAK President Ramush Haradinaj and Parliamentary Deputy Time Kadrijaj.

Mr. Haradinaj greatly valued PAAC’s role and growing voice and urged PAAC to work on getting the United States more involved in the dialogue process. He stated that it should be handled at the highest levels of the U.S. Government and that the naming of a Special Envoy by the United States and President Biden’s attention would ensure the success of an otherwise very difficult process.

PAAC raised concerns over various possible scenarios of the dialogue process that would resolve some EU, US and Kosova security concerns but continue to leave open certain political questions to which Mr. Haradinaj responded that Kosova must engage in the dialogue process with courage and be fully prepared going into what is hopefully the last phase of the process.Mr. Haradinaj and PAAC both expressed the need to continue to work together to support Kosova’s path to full statehood and the strengthening of the relationship between Kosova and the United States.
