The Pan-Albanian American Congress (PAAC) met with the Prime Minister of Kosova, Albin Kurti

PAAC and Mr. Kurti discussed Kosova’s challenges with Covid and institutional efforts to secure ample vaccines in order to inoculate 60% of Kosova’s population this year.  The Prime Minister shared his plan for reforms in education and vowed to combat brain-drain trends. Mr. Kurti also discussed his government’s plan for incentivizing direct investments and fueling economic growth, and outlined his active approach to vitalize Kosova’s economic and political standing.

PAAC and Mr. Kurti productively shared ideas and emphasized the need for activism in Washington, D.C.. The Prime Minister expressed the importance of revitalizing the active advocacy of the Albanian American diaspora.  PAAC and the Prime Minister agreed to work together to protect Albanian interests and strengthen the strategic alliance between Kosova and the United States.
